MovableBlog: Asides

Using only Anil Dash an counter-example to Jason's final paragraph, he (Anil) still writes extensively about blogging, but he just shifted to his professional space for it.

Anil does a very good job of writing a corporate blog with ProNet, but it's also very much a corporate blog, and not at all a substitute for his own voice. Chances are, if my every post was required to be happy, and positive, and nice, my blog would be a lot more pleasant to read. It also wouldn't be mine.

Right, but using strictly Anil as an example is someone who points out not not-so-positive, not-so-nice parts about blogging. He's still authentically Anil on his own personal site. He may not be the best counter-example, because though he's just *as* critical of certain subsets of bloggers, he writes about them less often on his personal site.
